Who will you fight for?

DrachenFest is a blockbuster Live Action Roleplay Event from Germany, which has been running for over 20 years. It is a player-driven, festival-style game that takes place in a medieval fantasy setting where you can explore, fight, celebrate and enjoy the spectacle as you take part in a living world. Player spend three days battling on behalf of the dragon that they decide aligns most closely with their goals and values. 

What is Live Action Roleplay (LARP)?

Live Action Role Playing, or LARP, is an immersive, interactive form of storytelling where players become a part of the adventure like never before. In LARP, you don't just describe your actions; you live them - physically and emotionally. We consider LARP to have components of many different hobbies and activities, such as orienteering, cosplay, theatre, and of course, dungeons and dragons. It gives you the opportunity to live your life as a knight, rogue, mage, noble, or whatever fantastical person you’ve always dreamed of being!

What story is DrachenFest telling?

Dragons: magnificent, primordial beings more powerful than any army and older than time itself. In this world, these creatures go beyond just being a beast - they are the embodiment of different philosophies and paths that represent all corners of society and moral alignment.

Throughout the ages, many great dragons have clashed and fought to reign over the dragon world … but in this age, the dragons need to find a new way to fight their battles and prove their worth.

At DrachenFest, players feel the call to step through a portal into a world where the power is placed in the hands of mortals. Align yourself with a dragon (camp) and throw all of your talents and skills behind them to fight with your allies for your dragon’s glorious victory.
